Your Friends are Going Places. Coordinate rides with friends and family or share rides with others going the same direction. Quickly and easily enter your schedule, origin, and destination. As few as 4 clicks to enter a trip, 3 more to share it.

Rewards for drivers! Points earned by driving passengers can be redeemed for merchandise and gift cards.

Automatic registration (no sign-in or password required.) Your phone can optionally predict your driving trips based on your past travel. If you are driver, you might not even have to enter any trips manually.

Search for existing matches using our TripMatch algorithm, then send out your plans via a custom web link. Or, only share your trips with groups that you easily create and join.

If you create or administer a Facebook Group, you can link it to your Driving Anyway group, so others can see the ride requests and offers within Facebook without opening the Driving Anyway app. Easily add carpooling and ridesharing to your work, school, team, family, etc.

If both passenger and driver have the Driving Anyway app well calculate the times and show them on the map. Use the in-app chat or SMS to confirm any details, then make the offer to drive or ride.

You can verify your snail mail address, upload a selfie, or link to your Facebook account. Control your personal information by sharing some with your groups, some only with people you contact, and/or show some publicly. Dont ride with any strangers! Make new friends instead.

Help out your friends, family, or fellow citizens, reward them with Points or gas money, or drive them somewhere!

(NOTE: Commercial driving is prohibited in this version. Contact us if you are a for-profit ridesharing operator or commercial transport operator.)

NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This app uses the GPS continually only around the beginning of an agreed trip, to help driver and passenger meet. At other times, the app uses lower powered and less frequent location monitoring, and only if you turn on the Suggested Trip functionality.
